What Botox actually does
Botox (botulinum toxin type A) temporarily paralyzes muscles it’s injected into, preventing them from contracting. Stops dynamic wrinkles (lines from muscle movement) from deepening. Doesn’t affect pigment, texture, or static wrinkles. Effects last 3-4 months.
